An experiential retail store deserves an experiential introduction.

Neon Wave is a lifestyle boutique dedicated to surf and snow in the Neighborhood of the Arts in Rochester, New York. The shop features popular brands such as Saturdays NYC, Burton, and Outerknown by Kelly Slater.

‍

But it’s more than just a retail store. Neon Wave is a shop where you can consult with experts and have a custom snowboard built. You can relax , read a book from their extensive library, and consume the surf and snow culture all around you.

‍

The goal of this launch was to introduce the brand in an authentic way to decision makers within the world of surf and snow culture. Many believe that lifestyle and experiential shops like Neon Wave are the future of retail, so it was important that is struck the right chord with the audience. Scrolling transitions and fun animations were developed to help create a stronger connection to the brand and the anticipated launch of the store. Neon Wave is bringing awareness to the region through culture camps allowing sporting enthusiasts to understand surfing in the upstate New York region. The brand also developed a partnership with Protect Our Winters (POW) – a popular group of climate activists doing everything they can to force positive change for the snowboarding community.
